The project aims to promote art, creativity, and local cultural traditions through a series of engaging activities.
You will have the opportunity to express your creativity through graffiti and street art, transforming public spaces into unique works of art.
We are seeking passionate and talented volunteers who are eager to share their skills and inspire the local community. In addition, you will have the chance to:
Work with art and painting in the local community.
Participate in events to enhance local cultural and artistic heritage.
Promote art and culture.
Document the creative process and local culture by producing multimedia content.
Duration: 28 days (including travel days) Expected start date: August 24, 2023 Location: Mussomeli (CL), Sicily, Italy Vacancies: 12
ACCOMMODATION, FOOD, AND TRANSPORTATION ARRANGEMENTS:
Volunteers will be engaged in activities for 5 days per week, with a maximum of 35 working hours.
Accommodation will be provided in the beautiful Spinnato Palace, a historic building located in the center of Mussomeli, right above Strauss APS headquarters.
The flat is spacious and equipped with all necessary facilities, including a large terrace.
Volunteers will share rooms based on gender or other requests. Each volunteer will receive a total amount of €285, which includes pocket money as determined by the program, as well as a food allowance.
PARTICIPANT PROFILE:
Age between 18 and 30.
Interest in graffiti, art, creativity, cultural heritage, and traditions.
Motivation to actively engage in the local community and willingness to get involved in hands-on painting activities.
Flexibility, adaptability, and a team spirit.
