The project is aimed at the combatting of cyberbullying, the phenomenon of online harassment. As the online presence of the younger generations is on a steep increase, regulatory practices for their control and protection are struggling to keep up.

Our project’s aim is to enable youth workers to prevent and identify cyberbullying and respond to it appropriately and effectively.

Youth workers will learn how to recognize cyberbullying at its early stage, intervene immediately and begin to support the victim.

Moreover, our aim is to teach youth workers methods and techniques to educate young people on the prevention of cyberbullying among them and fight against it successfully.

Furthermore, youth workers will be equipped with competences, skills, techniques and methods to support the victims according to their circumstances and specific problems. After the training, youth workers will become people who might be looked for by young people within their reach in case of need.

Youth workers will learn methods and skills to raise teachers’, parents’ and decision makers’ awareness about the issue. The project’s main target group are youth workers to enable them to advocate against cyberbullying and its serious effects on young people, to help the victims of cyberbullying and understand bullies’ motivation.
